Craps Basic Stategy

There are more strategies for Craps then there are politicians in Washington. Some work, most don’t. The best way to win at craps is Dice Control. There are ways to win even without the dice in your hand. The Best method is the Doey-Dont System with a 5-Count. It is a lot easier then its name implies.

This system breaks down to five steps. The goal of this system is to ride a hot streak and lose no money when the table is cold. It accomplishes this a good percentage of the time. It's not as exciting as covering all the numbers, but you will keep your money longer. You place the do and the don’t then after five counted rolls place or lay odds.

Step One:

On the come out roll place a bet on the Pass Line and the Don’t Pass Bar of equal amounts. They only way you lose is if a 12 is thrown. That will happen 1 in 36 come out rolls.
Count One

Step Two:

Do Nothing. Any number rolled counts as two. If a seven comes all of your bets break even.
Count Two

Step Three:

Do Nothing. Any number rolled counts as three. If a seven comes all of your bets break even.
Count Three

Step Four:

Time to add a bet. Place a bet equal to the pass line bet on the Come and Don’t Come Spots. You can only lose money if a 12 is rolled. Four can only be counted if it was a point number. 4,5,6,8,9,10
Count Four

Step Five:

Time to add a bet. Place a bet equal to the pass line bet on the Come and Don’t Come Spots. You can only lose money if a 12 is rolled. If a seven comes all of your bets break even. Five can only be counted if it was a point number. 4,5,6,8,9,10
Count Five

If the shooter makes it to this point it is time to place odds. Place all the numbers at a comfortable level. As the shooter continues to make your points continue to keep three numbers working for you. That is it. Takes a little practice, but it is easy to get the hang of. The five count is necessary to protect you from an early seven. Good Luck and Have Fun!
